You can send from any exchange or wallet that supports Solana withdrawals. Double-check the address and make sure you choose the Solana network when you withdraw from an exchange. Deposits usually arrive within seconds of the sending side processing them.
Keep a little SOL in your wallet even if you deposit USDC, because Solana network fees are paid in SOL. See do I need SOL for fees.
