Copy trading

What is copy trading?

Short answer

Copy trading means automatically mirroring another trader's buys and sells in your own account, usually with limits you set on size and budget.

Instead of finding every trade yourself, you pick a trader and let software repeat what they do. When their wallet buys a token, yours buys too, scaled to the amount you chose. When they sell, you sell.

On-chain copy trading is transparent: the trader's wallet is public, so you can see their history before you follow them. It isn't magic, though. You always enter after they do, often at a worse price, and you inherit their mistakes as well as their wins.

Good copy tools let you cap each trade, set a daily budget and skip risky tokens. Read does copy trading make money and why copiers get worse prices before you start.
