Fees

Our fees, explained in one table

· 4 min read · DYOR team

We charge one thing: a percentage of each trade. It's the same on DYOR and ApedIn, the same for buys and sells, and the same whether you tap buy or a copy fires. Here it is.

The rates

30-day volumeFeeWith referral (10% off)
Under $100k0.45%0.405%
From $100k0.35%0.315%
From $1M0.25%0.225%

The volume window rolls, so your rate updates as you trade. There is no minimum fee, no subscription, no deposit fee from us and no extra charge for copy trading.

Worked examples

  • A $10 buy at the base rate: $0.045 in fees.
  • A $250 sell at the base rate: about $1.13.
  • A $250 sell if you joined through a referral: about $1.01.
  • A $250 sell once you've traded $100k in the last 30 days: about $0.88.

Remember that a position is two trades. Buying and later selling costs roughly twice the rate in total, adjusted for any change in value in between.

What isn't our fee, but still costs you

  • Solana network fees, paid to the network in SOL. Usually tiny, so keep a little SOL in your wallet.
  • Priority fees when the network is busy, also paid to the network.
  • Slippage and price impact: in thin pools, your own trade moves the price. Not a fee, but a real cost. See price impact.
  • Token transfer taxes set by some token creators.
  • Third-party fees when you buy crypto with a card or cash out through an exchange. Those are set by the provider.

Fees and copy trading

Every copied trade pays the normal rate, so a very active trader generates a lot of fees for their copiers. Before you copy someone, look at how often they trade, and pick an “each trade” amount where the fee still makes sense.

Where you see it

The estimated fee is shown in dollars before you confirm every trade, and each trade in your history links to its transaction. The full breakdown lives in fees explained.

Risk note: Low fees don't make memecoins low risk. The largest cost for most traders is buying tokens that fall, not the fee. Only trade what you can afford to lose.
